Smiling for the cameras and looking like a million dollars, Gemma Arterton hit the red carpet at the Bafta Awards on Sunday evening. The beautiful British star looked sophisticated and glamorous in a nude and black one-shouldered gown as she arrived at London's Royal Opera House for the annual film celebration.
But it seems the 27-year-old was hiding personal heartbreak. According to reports, Gemma has recently split from her husband of two years, Stefano Catelli, and is said to be "devastated" by the break-up. "It's sad but her marriage is over," a friend told the Mail revealing that the couple made the mutual decision to go their separate ways a couple of months ago.
Tamara Drewe star Gemma started dating handsome fashion executive Stefano, now 40, in 2009. He quickly proposed at a summer music festival, and in June 2010 the pair tied the knot in secret in the beautiful village of Zuheros in Andalucia.
Clutching a bouquet of white roses, the English actress wore a cream gown and a veil as she exchanged vows in front of a select number of guests. Since then, the couple have maintained a relatively low-profile, and recently Gemma has been pictured out and about on a number of occasion without Stefano.
