Jessica Simpson hid her blossoming baby bump under a pale pink blazer as she went on a Valentine’s Day date with fiancé Eric Johnson in Santa Monica. The singer turned fashion designer was glowing as she stepped out in the California sunshine with her beau. The couple, who have been engaged since November 2010, had lunch at top A-list restaurant, The Ivy. Jessica, 32, teamed her blazer with black leggings, a bump-skimming black top, sky high patent heels and oversized sunglasses. She carried her essentials in a gold clutch. Former NFL star Eric, 33, was casual in a flannel shirt, jeans and a pair of wayfarer sunglasses.
Their new arrival will be a sibling to their daughter Maxwell who was born in May 2012. After weeks of rumours, she announced her second pregnancy on Christmas morning while on holiday in Hawaii, posting a photo of Maxwell playing outside with the words "Big Sis" written in the sand. The Newlyweds star hasn’t yet revealed her due date but she has hinted at a summer baby which would mean that she would coincide with first time mums Kate Middleton and Kim Kardashian who are both due in July.
The star famously became very curvy during her first pregnancy and she admitted that she was shocked when the weight didn’t fall off immediately after giving birth. But Jessica determinedly shed 50lbs and was unveiled as the new face of Weight Watchers. Shortly after sharing the news of her second pregnancy, Jessica also announced that she would be starring in a new semi-autobiographical NBC sitcom. Although she will be playing herself, actors will be playing the role of her fiancé and her dad. She is no stranger to reality TV and speaking about her return to the screen she said, "There's a lot of things that happen in my life that I'm like, ‘People have to know about this. People have to experience this.’"
