Beyonce shows off Blue Ivy in adorable new picture

Rare images of Beyonce's daughter Blue Ivy Carter have emerged courtesy of the singer's new documentary, Life is a Dream. Previous stills of Blue Ivy have avoided fully showing the youngster's face, but during an interview with Oprah Winfrey, clear pictures of the adorable one-year-old were seen for the first time, showing her strong likeness to dad Jay-Z.

All the Single Ladies singer Beyonce's new documentary reflects on her personal and professional life, from 2011 to 2012 - the year she gave birth to her daughter. Wanting the show to be as honest as possible, Beyonce chose to share special moments her audience that have never been documented before. Featuring family celebrations, ultrasound scans, music recordings and home videos, the programme shows Beyonce during tough times as well as triumphs.The documentary, which will be shown on US channel HBO, covers the Destiny's Child star's life before she became a mother, throughout her pregnancy, the birth and her baby's first year.

During her interview with Oprah, Beyonce confessed to being very nervous but extremely happy and proud of the project, adding that she hopes it inspires her daughter and her millions of fans. The Texas-born star also opened up about her relationship with Jay-Z, which has been going strong for more than 10 years. "I would not be the woman I am if I did not go home to that man" she said to the chatshow host. "He just gives me such a foundation and [he's helped me] on so many levels."

She added of Blue Ivy "When I get up in the morning, the best in the world is to see [her] face. [She is] Already starting to talk, every day is different and every day she learns something new," She continued: "I definitely want another child. After this next tour, maybe I'll have another baby. "For now, however, Beyonce is happy with Jay-Z and Blue Ivy, not to mention her phenomenal career. "I love singing,"  the 31-year-old simply stated, "I love my job."
