While his pregnant wife and his son are soaking up the sun in Barbados, Wayne Rooney has had to stay at home to work. But despite the 4,000 miles between them, his family is very much on his mind. The footballer has shared a photo of his three-year-old sent to him by Coleen that shows little Kai buried up to his neck in sand..
To accompany the Twitter picture, Wayne has written: "Kai having a bit of fun on holiday, looking forward to seeing him!" Coleen is enjoying a relaxing Caribbean break before the arrival of the couple's second son, in May. Though Wayne has been unable to join the 26-year-old, she has been helped out by her parents, Colette and Tony.
And adventurous Kai has certainly been keeping everyone on their toes. He has been pictured splashing around in the sea, with a green shark fin strapped to his back, and taking to shallow waters in a canoe. Coleen hasn't let her baby bump get in the way of the fun, helping lift Kai out of his canoe at the end of his ride. She has also been showing off her blossoming figure in a number of bikinis.
