'Time to get this show on the road': Girls Aloud tweet their excitement ahead of Ten tour

On Thursday night, the curtains will finally open on the Girls Aloud Ten tour. And with just 24 hours to go, it's not just the fans counting down until the girls step on stage - Sarah Harding, Nadine Coyle and Kimberley Walsh, have all taken to Twitter to share their excitement. "So dress run is done! Time to get this show on the road I think," Kimberley wrote on Wednesday. "Newcastle here we come…"Her band mates Sarah and Nadine meanwhile have been making final preparations for the 21-show tour.

"Busy day today packing for #tentour! #excitingtimes! xx," tweeted Sarah, followed by a photograph of the girls' tour itinerary, while Nadine wrote, "So here we are packing again. THIS TIME FOR TOUR!! I can't believe it xx".She later joked, "Currently my sock portfolio is looking pretty dire".The 27-year-old Irish singer told fans to expect some tears on the tour earlier in the week. "Just to warn you, there is a really emotional part in the show," she said. "We all stood and cried our eyes out during it today! I still feel drained x".The girls have also been rehearsing plenty of uptempo dance routines for their string of shows, and Cheryl recently gave a shout out to their dancers to show their appreciation.

"Doing such a great job, thank you".The Girls Aloud Ten tour is taking place in support of their latest greatest hits album Ten, which celebrates their tenth anniversary as a group.It kicks off at Newcastle's Metro Radio Arena on February 21 and includes dates in London, Manchester, Glasgow, Belfast, Dublin, Nottingham, Birmingham and Sheffield before closing in Liverpool on March 20.
