The German beauty is thought to have made a last-minute deal with NBC, ready to begin filming in New Orleans on Monday March 4.Heidi will take her place on AGT alongside Howard Stern, Howie Mandel and the newly-added Melanie Brown. The Former Spice Girl was recently confirmed as the replacement for Sharon Osbourne who left the show at the end of the last season after a public falling out with NBC. The Talk co-host claimed the network had fired her son Jack from reality series Stars Earn Stripes, after he was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. While Heidi is yet to confirm her new high-profile role, she did recently suggest a new adventure was on the horizon, tweeting, "Going on a journey" alongside a photo of a plane. It's not just her professional life that's going from strength-to-strength; Heidi is clearly happy on a personal level too. Following her split from husband Seal in January of last year, the star has found love with her bodyguard Martin Kristen. The couple have been dating since September, although Martin has worked for the family for the last four years. And while Heidi initially tried to keep their romance under wraps, she has recently started to open up about her new man. "He's been with our family for the last four years. He's cared for our entire family, mostly for our four children, helped us tremendously," she told TV host Katie Couric. "I trust him with my children's life. He's a great man, you know, and we just got to know each other from a completely different side".
But don't expect to hear wedding bells ringing out for the catwalk queen anytime soon. "I don't think so. No. No," she told Marie Claire when asked if marriage was on the cards.Heidi and her ex-husband Seal famously renewed their wedding vows every year during their seven-year union. "I wanted to keep the memory of our wedding alive every year, that's why I thought it would be fun to get married over and over," she said of that tradition. "But now I don't think it's that important. I'm not angry about anything, but I don't think I will. Maybe if I'm with someone for 15 or 20 years, and we do it in our old age as a fun thing to do… But I don't have the urgency anymore".
