Selena Gomez has opened up about her past relationship with Justin Bieber. The Wizards Of Waverly Place star, who dated the Baby hit maker for two years, admitted that the couple liked to keep their relationship away from the spotlight. "To make it as normal as possible — in such an abnormal lifestyle—was super important to both of us," she said in an interview with Harper’s Bazaar.

Despite the pair parting ways, Selena still believes that the right person for her is out there. "I believe in love — yes, I'm one of those girls," she said. "Most of my friends believe in love. I went out with Katy Perry last night. She's so fun and awesome, but it's cool to see someone older believe in love too. She is all about it, and that's how I will always be. I believe in stories like, 'Oh, I met him in Starbucks'." Before meeting Justin, Selena admits that there are difficulties in dating someone outside of the celebrity sphere. "I've dated people that are not in the industry, and it does get really hard and stressful," she said. "My first boyfriend wasn't, and it all sort of started happening, so I felt bad." She may have achieved international stardom at the age of twenty, but the actress admits she takes a more relaxed approach with her look, admitting that she feels far from beautiful on the red carpet, which has been her second home while she promotes her latest film, Spring Breakers.

"When I'm on red carpets, I'm nervous, sweaty and weird," said the star. "I'm getting older, though I don't look it at all. I do not give a damn what I look like, I really don't," she admitted. While Selena takes heed of her newly single status, her ex Justin is said to be dating aspiring model Ella-Paige Roberts-Clarke.

Ella, 17, attended Justin’s 19th birthday celebrations, and also spent time with the singer at a post-Brit Awards Justin Timberlake gig.
