Getting a fringe put in might not sound like a big deal - unless of course you are Kim Kardashian, one of the most photographed women in the world. The reality star got the Twitterverse talking on Wednesday when she debuted new bangs on the networking site.It was a brave decision for the pregnant socialite, who was "definitely nervous" when she arrived at the salon to have her hair cut. "She even said jokingly, 'What if I cry'," her hairstylist Philip Wolff told US Weekly.
While Kim had run the decision to change her hairstyle by some of her trusted friends and mum Kris Jenner, there was one person she couldn't confer with, boyfriend Kanye West, who was out of town at the time. "She did say she felt he'd love them on her, so that made me feel even better about it," Philip said. "I've had a few interactions with him, and he's a great guy.""Kanye West has a huge part in her (style) decisions… which I think is a great dynamic for them as a couple," the stylist added. "They both share a passion for fashion and style - I love that. "While Philip says he usually avoids making any big changes to a client's hair while she is pregnant, he made an exception in Kim's case. "I could feel she was ready and this was something she'd been thinking of doing for a while now. "She wanted something new without being too drastic. I feel it's so important for a woman to feel sexy throughout her pregnancy, and this happened to be a small part of that for her.
"Kim was so happy with the end result… I personally love them on her, but then again, she has such an amazing face shape and bone structure that she has the luxury of wearing almost any style and it looks great. What makes Kim sexy to me is that she wears the hair - her hair doesn't wear her. "After debuting her new look on Twitter, the expectant star, 32, stepped out with her sisters Kourtney and Khloe on Wednesday, her bangs and baby bump on show. The famous trio headed out on a shopping trip to high-end boutique Bel Bambini, perhaps to pick out clothes for Kim's first child, due in July.The mum-to-be looked elegant and stylish in a simple blouse, trouser and blazer combination, her growing tummy just visible beneath her billowing top.
