Rochelle Humes finding it hard to adjust to maternity leave

March 30, 2013

Rochelle Humes has admitted she's finding it tough to slow down now that she's on maternity leave. Rochelle performed with her girl band The Saturdays last week for the final time before becoming a mum.But having got used to the hectic lifestyle of one's of Britain's biggest bands, Rochelle has found it hard to adjust to a life of rest and downtime. "I get that I need to rest but, this is SO not me" she tweeted, "I hate doing nothing. Gonna be long few weeks #maternityleave. Miss my Sats xx"

Luckily the singer, 24, was able to join her fellow Saturdays, Mollie King, Vanessa White, Frankie Sandford and Una Healy on Sunday as the girls celebrated their first UK number one single.Despite having been around for six years and releasing four studio albums, the quintet had not achieved the a position at the top of the charts. But the girls more than made up for their wait as their single What About Us, which also features Jamaican singer Sean Paul, was also named as the fastest selling single of the year.As Mollie, Vanessa, Frankie and Una continue their wave of success with live performances in Dublin, Rochelle is at home taking it easy before the birth of her first child.

"Big good luck to my girls @TheSaturdays today in Dublin" she posted on Twitter "Hate missing shows :( it doesn't feel right. Miss you already. Smash it. Love u x"

Rochelle and her husband Marvin are expecting their new arrival in the middle of this year.
