British pop sensations The Saturdays are getting into the groove of performing without pregnant Rochelle Humes, who is now on maternity leave as she awaits the birth of her first child. The four remaining ladies – Una Healy, Frankie Sandford, Vanessa White and Mollie King – put on a dazzling display as they kicked off the three-day Grand National Festival at Aintree on Thursday. Red was the sartorial theme of opening day – as Una and Vanessa perfectly demonstrated with rouge outfits teamed with leather jackets. Mollie continued the theme and accessorised with a chunky Chanel belt, while Frankie contrasted in a black one-piece cinched in at the waist with a flash of red.
The girls are riding high after their first ever number one single What About Us recently went straight to the top of the charts. The track also became the fastest-selling single of the year. Mum-of-one Una took the opportunity to pose with the groups' number one trophy and share the photo with her followers, and Vanessa wrote, "Thank you sooo much to everyone who bought #WhatAboutUs - we are so happy :) WE DID IT!". Topping the charts was the perfect swan song for pregnant Rochelle, who gave her last performance with The Saturdays at a G-A-Y gig. She will soon join Una Healy as the band's second working mum. Una and her husband Ben Foden are parents to little Aoife Belle Foden, who recently celebrated her first birthday.
The little girl is now an honorary member of the group, and often travels with Una when she is on the road.
