While rumours that Rihanna is pregnant with Chris Brown's baby are spreading like wildfire, the singer's people have denied that she is expecting. "She is just sick, and that's really it," a source is quoted as saying. It comes after the Only Girl In The World singer cancelled four concert dates on her Diamonds World Tour. As the 25-year-old pop starlet left a doctor's surgery in Beverly Hills on Tuesday, she said she was feeling "a lot better".
Her spokespeople say that she is suffering from the flu and laryngitis. Despite their attempts to quash the rumours, many fans are still convinced that the Barbadian-born singer is expecting 23-year-old Chris's baby. Rihanna cancelled a show in Boston on 10 March, one in Baltimore on March 12, the 15 April gig in Houston and her 16 April concert in Dallas.
After cancelling the hotly anticipated dates, the Rude Boy singer claimed in an Instagram post that she'd been ill since 11 April. "I was sick since San Diego!" she wrote. "I kept working because I thought two days off after the Vegas show would be enough time to recover and I f****ed up, those were two days off from hell and today is not different!"
Although the pregnancy rumours are being denied at the moment, welcoming a baby into the world isn't totally out of the question for the star. "I will probably have a kid," she said in a recent interview.
