Rugby player Danny Cipriani, 25, has been discharged from hospital after being run over by a double-decker bus in Leeds. "Out of hospital now," tweeted Danny. "Once again, thank you for the messages. "The sportsman, who is dating model Kelly Brook, was treated for concussion at the scene before being kept in overnight. Danny's manager James Williamson explained the incident to The Sun. "Danny's spending the night in hospital," he said. "X-rays and scans will be carried out overnight. He's obviously in pain.
"He was running across the road and just misjudged the speed of the bus." The accident happened during a night out with Danny's Sale Sharks teammates. Horrified onlookers tweeted reports of the incident before realising Danny was the victim. "Some guy's been hit by a bus outside Leeds uni and every bit of the bus front window is smashed to pieces, imagine what the guy looks like," one witness wrote, while another described the collision as "horrific". So far, there has been no Twitter reaction from Danny's girlfriend Kelly.
The model, who recently rekindled her relationship with the rugby star, has treated her followers to various romantic images of them together since splitting from long-term boyfriend Thom Evans. Kelly and Danny originally dated back in 2008 following her high-profile split from Titanic actor Billy Zane. The couple were recently spotted house-hunting in London.
