Demi Moore was back at her best on Wednesday night as she joined music legend Cher for Target's AFI Night At The Movies. After a difficult few months the star stepped out in a chic all-black ensemble to present her classic film, Ghost, at the ArcLight cinema in Hollywood.
Demi 's relatively rare appearance on the red carpet comes as she and former partner Ashton Kutcher head to court to for a £190million divorce battle. Unfazed, Demi mingled with stars of the silver screen as they celebrated the best in American film.
Demi, who turned 50 last year, showed off her figure in a sheer black jumpsuit, with distinctive white cuffs, over a lace black top.
Believe singer Cher, 66, opted for a slightly more monochrome look, teaming a black and cream top with black trousers, boots and a blazer.Actress Kathy Bates also went back to black with a trouser and top combination accessorised with quirky blue-lensed glasses and gold jewellery.
Fellow big names from the film industry, Sally Field and Shirley MacLaine, also attended the Californian event. After sharing a hug on the red carpet the pair joined acting legends
Harrison Ford, Peter Fonda, Kurt Russell and Kevin Spacey to wish Shirley a happy birthday.
Shirley blew out the candles on a large cake, iced with 'Happy birthday Shirley', to mark her 79th birthday.
