Peaches Geldof has given birth to her second baby. Speaking exclusively to HELLO!, the happy new mum confirmed that she and husband Thomas Cohen are now proud parents to two little boys. "Tom and I are completely overjoyed to welcome Phaedra into the world," she said. The little boy was born on Wednesday, poignantly on what would have been the 54th birthday of her late mother Paula Yates. Peaches, 24, — the daughter of singer Bob Geldof — gave birth via caesarean section, and is said to be delighted with the significance of her second son's birth date, April 24.

"They are absolutely over the moon about their new arrival," a source told the Sun. "It all went smoothly and Peaches will be in hospital for a while to recuperate. Bob is absolutely over the moon — the whole family are.

"They are particularly pleased about the significance of the date as it makes Peaches feel she is keeping her mum's memory alive." Peaches and musician Tom are already proud parents to son Astala, one. They announced they were expecting their second baby together just six months after he was born.

Speaking exclusively to HELLO! magazine in November, Peaches said, "I did have a momentary panic and go, 'Oh my god, we're going to have a one-year-old and a one-month-old! How will we cope?' "Tom was so supportive and relaxed, it banished my doubts and I started imagining the two boys growing up together as the best of friends." The couple also revealed they had already decided to name their second son Phaedra. "It's a name that comes from an ancient Greek play," Peaches said. "But it also features in a song Tom and I both love called Some Velvet Morning by Lee Hazlewood."
