First picture of the bride and groom: Michael Jordan marries long-term love Yvette Prieto

With their fingers interlocked and their foreheads gently touching, smiling Michael Jordan and Yvette Prieto share their first dance as husband and wife. The basketball legend, 50, and his long-term love tied the knot on Saturday in Palm Beach, Florida after five years together. Model Yvette, 35, looked beautiful in a white strapless gown, her hair swept back in an elegant bun. According to Associated Press, her corseted sheath dress was made of French silk voile and designed by J'Aton Couture. It featured handmade silk lace created especially for her and decorated with Swarovski crystals, and cascaded into a dramatic cathedral train.

Around 500 people were seen arriving by tour bus to attend the wedding ceremony in an Episcopal church called Bethesda-by-the-sea, where Donald Trump married his wife Melania in 2005.

A further 1,500 guests were then invited to join the happy couple for the reception at the Bears Club, a luxurious private golf club near to Michael's 38,000-square-foot house.Inside the candle-lit venue, they were served a seven-layer white rum wedding cake, covered with white fondant and sugar crystals, and adorned with crystals broaches and the couple's monogram. Entertainment included a set by Grammy-winner Usher, and performances from DJ MC Lyte, singers K'Jon, Robin Thicke and 18-piece band The Source. There was also fireworks at night as part of the celebrations.Some of the famous faces celebrating with the happy couple included Michael's former team mates, golfer Tiger Woods and film director Spike Lee. In lieu of wedding gifts, donations were made to the James R. Jordan Foundation. The wedding flowers were donated to the Jupiter Medical Center.Six-time NBA champion Michael, now the owner of the Charlotte Bobcats, proposed to Yvette over Christmas in 2011. The couple first met at a Miami nightclub in 2008.It is the second marriage for the sportsman; he and his first wife Juanita Vanoy divorced in 2006 after 17 years of marriage, and have three grown children together.
