Former Coronation Street actress Helen Flanagan has confirmed that she and her footballer boyfriend are still "very much in love". "We clash and have ups and downs, like most couples," said the 22-year-old I'm a Celebrity... contestant. "It's my private business but we haven't split."
Helen has been with Manchester City star Scott Sinclair for four years. Speaking for the first time about their relationship troubles, she admitted that although they have their problems, they are still together. "We're fiery and passionate but we truly love each other," she said of her 24-year-old footballer beau. "And when you find someone you love, you work through your problems." The pair still share a house too. They met in 2009 while she was playing the role of Rosie Webster in Coronation Street and he played for Wigan Athletic.
Rumours of a rocky patch emerged in January after it was reported that Helen was "clingy". "We're obsessed with each other," Helen said previously. "He’s the love of my life. I’m like his stalker."
She has also spoken about wanting to start a family. In December 2012, Helen opened up about her battle with anxiety and depression and revealed that her mental health problems lead to quit Coronation Street after 12 years.
