A representative of Kim Kardashian has denied reports that she and Kanye West have set a wedding date. It had been claimed that the couple had decided to marry after the birth of their first child, which is due in the summer. "They're going to tie the knot in a lavish wedding in the Los Angeles area right after the birth of their child," a source was quoted as saying. The couple had reportedly planned an outdoors ceremony "where they can hear the waves and be married under the moon and the stars". Kim's spokesperson has described these claims as "100% false".
The couple were also reported to be keen to keep their wedding day a private affair, but are considering a donation to charity in a deal for a short film of the wedding. Kim's second marriage, to basketball player Kris Humphries, recently ended and she has admitted that she would be keen to walk down the aisle again. "That’s what I’ve always wanted," she said. Her marriage to Kris lasted just 72 days, and she says she quickly realised that their union was a mistake. "I think I was brave enough to realise that quickly and not waste time."
Kim has acknowledged that she and Kanye have spent a lot of time apart during her pregnancy. Kanye has been in Paris working on his new album and clothing line, while Kim’s work commitments have taken her around the globe. In an interview with Ryan Seacrest, she said that Kanye "loves" watching the Keeping up with the Kardashians reality shows. Kim’s marriage to Kris was broadcast in a TV special on the E! channel and she says she has learnt from this. "I’ve changed a little bit on showing relationships," she said.
