Keira Knightley and musician James Righton tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in the south of France on Saturday. The silver screen beauty was effortlessly chic in a tea length tulle dress, cropped Chanel jacket and a pair of satin ballet pumps.
She wore her brunette tresses loose with a delicate floral garland. The new Mr and Mrs Righton exchanged vows in front of a group of 11 family friends at the town hall in Mazan, near the city of Marseille.
The bride and her Klaxons rocker husband looked delighted as they left the venue in typically low-key fashion in a waiting Renault Clio. The small party of casually dressed guests were seen congratulating the elated husband and wife as they came out of the hall.
It is thought that around 50 guests will attend the reception that will take place at the actress's mum Sharman MacDonald's house nearby. A marquee was seen being erected at the Provence farmhouse during the week, according to the MailOnline.
The Teddington-born actress recently hinted at a low-key celebration. "We're not big wedding types," she said. "I don't need to have all that, I'm just trying to enjoy the engagement bit." The reception is unlikely to be full of A-listers though.
"I don’t have celebrity friends like that," the Atonement actress once said. "I mean, I have ones that I’d kind of call up to say: 'Hello, how are you? How is everything going?" she said. "But no, my friends aren’t actors."
However, her close actress friend Sienna Miller is an exception to this and is rumoured to be attending the evening celebrations. The pair struck up a friendship after starring alongside each other in 2008 flick, The Edge of Love, written by Keira's mother.
Pirates of the Caribbean actress Keira, 28, and James, 29, have been dating since February 2011 after being introduced by their friend Alexa Chung. They announced their engagement in May of last year and earlier this week, a source revealed to The Mirror that their wedding will take place this weekend.
"It's all been a massively covert operation," the source said. "Her friends and family were only told recently about the ceremony. They've all been told not to travel in big groups, to arrive separately and to all spread out where they're staying so as not to draw attention to the wedding party."
The Oscar-nominated actress is no stranger to the area. She bought an "incredibly private, small and cosy" estate there for £1.9million in 2010 when she was dating actor Rupert Friend.
"Keira and James holiday together quite a bit in the south of France," the source added. "It's become a really special place for them, which is why they chose to hold the wedding there."
