"You and a friend are invited to the private goop event, which begins at 6pm on Friday, June 14," read the post. "You can munch on appetizers and sip cocktails before goop editor-in-chief Gwyneth Paltrow gives a cooking demonstration. You'll leave with a signed cookbook. "Not only will you meet Gwyneth," the advert continued. "You'll also dine at the Bistro La Promenade restaurant, get the star treatment at Great Jones Spa, and catch 40 winks stay at the 4-star DoubleTree by Hilton Metropolitan New York. "Oscar-winner and mother-of-two Gwyneth is known for being a foodie.

The Shakespeare in Love actress can currently be seen beaming from the cover of her second cookbook , looking make-up free with her blonde natural waves reaching her shoulders.

It's All Good, which follows her hugely successful first book My Father's Daughter, promises to make you 'look and feel great' as well as give you energy. Since hitting the shelves in April, it promotes an "elimination diet" following a health scare the star recently suffered, initially thinking she'd had a stroke. Doctors later diagnosed Gwyneth as severely anaemic and vitamin D-deficient with high levels of stress, and banned her from eating eggs, sugar, shellfish, deepwater fish, potatoes, tomatoes, bell peppers, eggplant, corn, wheat, meat and drinking coffee for three weeks.
