Cat Deeley posts adorable photos of blissful break with husband Patrick Kielty

May 27, 2013

Cat Deeley and her husband Patrick Kielty looked very much in love as they posed for a series of pictures which were later published on the presenter's Instagram account.Cat, 36, and Patrick, 42, married in a quiet ceremony in Rome last September and are still clearly in the honeymoon stage as they appeared loved-up in the cute snaps.

The adorable couple were making the most of their time together in Los Angeles, where Cat is based most of the year due to her presenting career, before Patrick returned to London where he presents his Radio 2 show.

Clearly thrilled to be reunited, Cat posted a photo of the two holding hands, captioning it: "Just your average smiley Sunday..."A second picture showed comedian Patrick trying to kiss Cat: "Just irresistible...." It seems their reunion was short lived; when one Twitter follower asked Cat if Patrick was still with her, she replied: "Gone already.... Parting such sweet sorrow..." Cat and Patrick tied the knot in St Isidore's College Church, with Patrick's parish priest Father Gary Donegan officiating. Such was the secrecy surrounding their big day, that some guests only learned about the wedding at the last minute.

At the time, an insider revealed: "It was a beautiful ceremony, just close friends and family. We only found out at the last minute. It was a really perfect day. They've been pals for ages and we all just wonder what took them so long." Those closest to Cat were initially surprised when the pretty blonde's ten-year friendship with Patrick turned into love, and the star herself recently revealed the reason behind her change of heart.

She told the December issue of Red magazine: "I told him I was having brunch with friends here at the Beverly Hills Hotel. He got on a plane to London, then another plane to LA, then he came straight from the airport with his bags, walked in, sat down and had birthday brunch with me. "And then, when I went to pay for everybody, they wouldn't take my card because it had all been taken care of. That's quite possibly the most romantic thing anyone has ever done for me. And he was just sitting there hanging out with 12 of my friends, making everybody laugh. It was romantic, noble, kind of amazing and pretty hard not to fall in love with him."
