Jennifer Lopez got a lot of people talking when she appeared on Britain's Got Talent this week — and not just for flawless performance. Her dance routine and tiny stage outfit quickly came under fire as viewers inundated broadcasting regulator Ofcom with complaints. But Jennifer has defended her appearance, maintaining she delivered exactly what show bosses wanted.Speaking during an interview with Radio 1 DJ Scott Mills, Jennifer explained, "I think people are so raunchier than I am. I feel like I'm so tame.
"We wore it at Billboard (Music Awards), and Britain's Got Talent said they wanted exactly the same. So I thought I'd wear the outfit in black. No-one complained at Billboard. "I think a lot of people just like to talk. It was a body suit. A lot of performers wear that these days. It is standard stage clothes, I'm not going to walk down a street like that!"She also explained how her ensemble — a tiny black leotard, fur bolero and fishnet tights with thigh-high boots — had a practical purpose; it helped prevent an injury to her knees. "Luckily with that outfit, which is why I wore it on Billboard and on Britain's Got Talent, is that I can wear a very small knee pad underneath, because I have those tall boots. I was so happy that I could wear it as I was very raw from rehearsals and had cut it open the day before."
Certainly the mum-of-two, 43, didn't seem to have let the criticism get to her as she left the Dorchester Hotel hand-in-hand with her dancer boyfriend Casper Smart on Thursday evening.Headed for an appearance on The Graham Norton Show, smiling Jennifer looked incredible in a cream silk dress with a plunging neckline and thigh-high split that showed off her fantastic figure.
