Channing Tatum and wife Jenna Dewan-Tatum have welcomed their first child. The young couple, who have been residing in London, welcomed a baby girl on Thursday, according to US Weekly. Channing and Jenna have been living in the English capital in recent months while the Magic Mike star shoots his new movie Jupiter Ascending. The couple first announced they were expecting their first child in December with Channing saying, "I’m ready; I think she’s ready". Channing later revealed the couple would welcome their first addition to the family while in the UK. "We're going to actually have the baby in London while I'm shooting," Channing, 33, told Ryan Seacrest.
In April, Jenna praised her husband for his support. "Channing has been great. He takes the route of no confrontation, just support, saying things like, 'Do whatever you want! What do you want to eat? I'm going to leave it up to you,'" the actress told Glamour magazine. Meanwhile, Channing joked he would need some lessons ahead the baby's birth. "I have never changed a diaper before, so I may need some help learning". The couple have enjoyed a true Hollywood romance, meeting on the set of Step Up in 2006before tying the knot in 2009 in Malibu in front of family and close friends. The new golden couple of Hollywood are expected to move back to the US in the coming weeks.
Channing's new film is set to move location to Chicago in July, and his wife will begin work on her new TV show, Witches of East End in Vancouver, Canada this summer. Jamie Foxx was one of the first celebrities to congratulate the pair, with the friend of the couple tweeting: "Big luv 2 my @WHD costar @channingtatum + wife @jennaldewan + their new baby. Welcome 2 the world little Tatum." The couple, who are yet to announce the name of their first child, were spotted walking their dogs Pit-Catahoula mix Lulu and Japanese Spitz Meeka, just hours ahead of the baby birth. During their time in England, Channing and Jenna have enjoyed weekend retreats to Channing's GI Joe co-star Sienna Miller's Cotswold home.
