Proud parents Marvin Humes and Rochelle Humes enjoyed their first date night out together since becoming mum and dad to adorable baby girl Alaia-Mai Humes. The pop pair, who got married last summer, smiled for a photo in the evening sunshine which JLS singer Marvin shared on his Instagram account on Monday night. The caption accompanying the snap of the new parents read, "Taking my wife out for our first date since the baby x"
Neither showed any signs struggling with late nights or early starts as they posed for the picture. The Saturdays singer Rochelle wore a studded leather jacket and purple jeans while her husband Marvin looked casual in a pale shirt and chinos. Rochelle tweeted that it was the first time she had left the house in two weeks but the new mum seemed relaxed and happy to be out with her adoring husband. The couple have kept fans updated about their new arrival on Twitter and are both loving every minute of parenthood. Shortly before their romantic date night, Rochelle tweeted, "My beautiful angel is 2 weeks today. I can't imagine life without her xx," to which devoted dad Marvin replied "We just took her for her first walk in the park!" Marvin, who recently became a presenter on London's Capital FM tweeted last Friday, "Right home time..big day today huge weekend ahead but phone off time..precious time with my family..R&A-M Humes..My Queen and my Princess."
Despite regular updates about their adoration for their little one, they have only shared one picture of Alaia-Mai so far. The cute picture shows Marvin with the apple of his eye, daughter Alaia-Mai, in his arms with a big grin on his face. Since the birth, a steady stream of the Humes's family and friends have been visiting including the four other members of the Saturdays, HELLO! Online blogger Una Healy, pregnant Frankie Sandford, Mollie King and Vanessa White as well as JLS member Ashton Merrygold. Mum-of-one Una wrote about Alaia-Mai in her blog, "She is so unbelievably gorgeous. We’ve been showering their baby with gifts for a while now, we can’t seem to stop! "Last week, I took Alaia a really cute Ralph Lauren bib and babygro and a hamper full of sweet little baby gifts and goodies. The other girls took her pretty little dresses and outfits so she’s got a great wardrobe already!" "It’s hard to tell whether she looks like her Mummy or Daddy at the moment because she’s so tiny.
