Nicole Kidman looked delighted when she ran into rocker Lenny Kravtiz backstage at the CMT Music Awards. Far from feeling awkward, the Australian beauty greeted her ex with a warm embrace and posed for pictures with Lenny and her husband, Keith Urban. The two men seemed to have a lot to chat about. With Nicole smiling on, they shared a hug before spending a few moments catching up. Both Lenny, 49, and, Keith, 45, were due to perform at the star-studded event.
The Hunger Games star kicked off the CMTs with a duet of his hit song American Woman alongside host Jason Aldean. American Idol judge Keith, meanwhile, presented an award and sang two of his hit songs during the show.Mum-of-four Nicole, 45, looked elegant in a black sleeveless Dior dress and heels shoes as she arrived for the annual event with her country music star husband. She dated Lenny a decade ago, between 2003 and 2005, and the pair were even forced to deny engagement rumors after Nicole was spotted wearing a diamond sparkler on her ring finger. It is widely believed that dad-of-one Lenny wrote his 2004 song Lady about the Australian star.
They first met when Nicole rented out Lenny's Manhattan apartment in the summer of 2003. "They're very close," her rep told People that same year. "He's very important to her. Beyond that, I don't know. "Of course Nicole has been very happily married to Keith since June 2006. The couple have two daughters together, Sunday Rose, who was born in Nashville in 2008, and Faith Margaret, born via a surrogate in 2010.
