Channing Tatum celebrates Father's Day by sharing first picture of his newborn daughter Everly

It was the perfect time for Channing Tatum to proudly introduce his new daughter Everly to the world. "First Father's Day with my girls," the actor wrote next to a lovely family photograph posted on his Instagram page on Sunday.

The adorable picture shows Channing, 33, cradling his beautiful baby girl in his arms, while her mother Jenna Dewan-Tatum looks on with a serene smile. Lying comfortably in her daddy's arms, Everly is holding on to Channing's finger with her tiny hands as her besotted parents look on with complete love and adoration.Everly was born in London on 31st May, and her parents decided to wait until Father's Day to debut the two-week-old daughter.New mum Jenna, 32, who referred to Everly as "our lil angel" in her own Facebook post, recently acknowledged all the love and support the couple have received from fans since becoming parents. "Thank you everyone for all the loving messages," she wrote on 7th June. "Chan, myself and Everly are as happy as can be and appreciate them all."

Channing and Jenna met in 2006 on the set of their dance film, Step Up. They announced their engagement in September 2008, and were married in July the following year at Church Estates Vineyards in Malibu. In December, they happily revealed they were expecting they first baby together.The GI Joe actor spoke to Vanity Fair recently about the kind of father that he hopes to be. "I'm just going to be a good friend to my kid," he said. "I don't think you can prepare. It's a bit of a freestyle. "He said that his own parents had set a good example for him to follow. "They weren't perfect. I don't know anyone who did have perfect parents," he said. "It's provided me with lesson I'll try to improve upon when I'm up to bat. I'm just going to be a good friend to my kid."
