Coronation Street star Jack P Shepherd has revealed he would love to have a large family with his fiancée Lauren Shippey.
The actor, who plays the Street's bad boy David Platt, admitted he would love to expand his growing family and have four children with Lauren.
The couple have been dating since they were 14 and the childhood sweethearts welcomed their first child Nyla in 2009.
“Yes, I want four. Nyla has been dead easy,” Jack revealed to New! Magazine.
Earlier this year, the 25-year-old actor revealed on Twitter that he and Lauren were expecting their second child.
"Me and @LaurenShippey are pleased to announce we are expecting a baby, we are both very happy. X", the soap villain tweeted in May.
The young parents have been engaged since April 2011, when Jack surprised Lauren with a £3,000 diamond ring.
Jack revealed fiancée Lauren was looking forward to their big day. "Lauren wants a typical big do – the church and a nice dress," he said.
"We haven’t planned anything yet but when we’re ready we’ll do it."
Jack, who has played soap bad boy David Platt since 2000, recently revealed he enjoys playing the cobble's troublemaker.
"As an actor it is important to play different emotions," he said. "There has to be light and shade."
David's dark side will reemerge this week when he discovers wife Kylie and half-brother Nick enjoyed a one-night stand.
The villain will soon start to plan revenge against the two, with David trashing Nick's flat as his first move.
"It's good to get his evil horns back, because I think it's what the viewers want to see."
Last night viewers saw David find out about the pair's betrayal. Jack teased fans, tweeting, "Aaaaannnnnddddd he's back!"
