Sharon Osbourne has moved back in with husband Ozzy Osbourne. The couple's reunion comes just months after the pair's relationship was put under strain by Ozzy's drug and alcohol use. However, Sharon has now returned to the family home she shares with Ozzy after being pleased with his progress, TMZ reports.
The news comes just days after the couple appeared to be in good spirits as they walked the red carpet together at the Daytime Emmy Awards in Los Angeles, laughing and kissing one another for the cameras. "Now Sharon is giving Ozzy another chance. They are working things out," a source said. "They weren’t seeing each other at all. He was in a rented house, she was in a hotel and they lived separate lives." At the time of the temporary split, Ozzy took to his Facebook page to apologise to his wife of 30 years. "For the last year and a half I have been drinking and taking drugs. I was in a very dark place and was an a*****e to the people I love most, my family. However, I am happy to say that I am now 44 days sober," the Black Sabbath singer explained.
The rocker went on to deny the couple were separating permanently. "Sharon and I are not divorcing. I’m just trying to be a better person. I would like to apologise to Sharon, my family, my friends and my band mates for my insane behaviour during this period… and my fans." Sharon went on to reveal on US daytime show The Talk that she was heartbroken about her husband's relapse. "I am devastated right now," she said. "It's a disease that not only hurts the person who has the disease, but it hurts the family. It hurts people who love you." The couple's reunion comes as Sharon makes a dramatic return to the UK X Factor six years after leaving the show. Sharon will join close friend Louis Walsh on the panel with Gary Barlow and Nicole Scherzinger for the tenth season of the show, due to begin later this year.
