Justin Bieber, Madonna and Marvin Humes were among the celebrities who were quick to take advantage of Instagram's new video feature, which launched on Friday.

Never Say Never singer Justin took to the social networking site to post the video for his 9,049,866 followers. "Crazy news guys, there's video on Instagram," said Justin, 19. The singer laughed as he posed in the video showing off his toned torso with his latest tattoos on show.

Justin seemed to be enjoying the new video feature as he later posted several more videos. The singer attended a Miami Heat basketball game, and gave fans a sneak peek of how the game was going. He later posted a final video as he left the game, posing for the 15-second clip, with his excited admirers. Madonna posted a 15-second Instagram video clip as she prepared for a gym class. The singer captioned the video, "Hard candy pop up class. Getting ready in the bathroom."

The singer shows off her impressive dance moves in the short clip, and ended the video with the words, "I'm gonna teach you to sweat." X Factor star Leona gave fans a sneak peek of her new album as she revealed she was back in the studio, while Marvin Humes, husband of Saturday's star Rochelle, took the opportunity to show off his DJ set at last week's Summertime Ball.

"It's gonna be funny though watching everyone to try and squeeze what they gotta say in 15 seconds!! ‪#InstagramVideo‬‬," the JLS singer joked. Instagram officially unveiled the new update for the popular app on Thursday. The feature will now allow users to upload videos and filter them. The update will include 13 different filters for a video including a "moon" and "vesper" filter that will let users to edit their videos. Instagram CEO Kevin Systrom said at a press conference for the launch, "We need to do to video what we did to photos."
