The Whenever Wherever singer was spotted cheering from the stands in Fortaleza, Brazil, as Gerard and his team mates propelled Spain to victory in the FIFA Confederations Cup' semi final against Italy.
Shakira, 36, who has five-month-old son Milan with Gerard, sported a printed black and white dress for the game and wore her golden, curly locks loose.
The Spanish supporters cheered from the crowd whenever Shakira appeared on the big screen from the VIP area.
With Spain now the favourites to win the cup when they face the host nation Brazil on Sunday, fans of the Colombian singer will hope to see her in the stands, perhaps with baby Milan, supporting Gerard once again.

The Voice US judge recently spoke to People magazine about what Gerard has been like as a dad. "Thank God (Milan's) father has been really involved," she said. "He's been amazing. The baby spends as much time with me as he does with his dad."

It was football that brought the pair together back in Spring 2010, when he appeared in Shakira's music video for Waka Waka (This Time for Africa), the official World Cup song.
