Cheryl Cole celebrated her 30th birthday with Kimberley Walsh and Nicola Roberts in an extravagant Las Vegas party. The trio quite literally danced until they dropped, with Nicola posting a photo on Instagram of the three partygoers and Cheryl's boyfriend Tre Holloway slumped on a sofa in the club at the end of the night. "That's what you get for waking up in Vegas," tweeted Nicola the next morning.
Calvin Harris was on the decks for the night and the DJ later tweeted, "Happy Birthday @CherylCole !!! Thanks for coming down to Hakkasan tonight!!" Cheryl replied: "Thank you so much we had an unbelievable night !! You have some serious skillz!! #legend." The birthday girl looked fabulous in a short white dress with a ruffled collar, while Kimberly wore a white mini dress with a colourful bold graffiti-style print. Nicola opted for a maxi dress with big bling earrings. The Fight For This Love singer was joined by 12 close friends, including her boyfriend Tre, for the celebrations over the weekend. Cheryl’s former X Factor judging rival Simon Cowell was reportedly also invited to the party, but was unable to attend due to his busy schedule.
The big birthday bash reportedly cost £50,000, which included dinner followed by partying in a VIP booth at the cool Hakkasan nightclub at the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. Cheryl was presented with a decadent three-tiered birthday cake, which was adorned with pink roses and inscribed with the message "Happy Birthday Cheryl Cole" in icing. Yesterday, the Geordie girl thanked her friends and fans on Twitter, posting, "Awwww!!! Thank you all sooo much for my birthday wishes you are the sweetest!!!!!!" Since Girls Aloud announced their split after their reunion tour in March, Cheryl has been taking a break from her music career, living in Los Angeles with her boyfriend.
