Jools Oliver reveals she would like another child to avoid 'empty nest' syndrome

Jools Oliver has revealed that she would like another child in order to avoid suffering the 'empty nest' syndrome.

Despite being a busy mum of four children Poppy, 11, Daisy Boo, 10, Petal, four, and Buddy, two, the designer and model is thinking of adding another to the Oliver brood because she has already begun to worry about her children moving out of the family home.

Though this usually takes place when children are much older, the wife of celebrity chef Jamie Oliver explains it happened when her daughter Poppy moved from primary to secondary school. She said: "As they get older it's quite emotional. It's a big change because she is going to secondary school. I spent most of this week just crying. "I find it really hard, I’m really attached to the children and she’s the first one so the whole thing is a lot for me to take in but it is going to happen and empty nest will happen soon. "I think 'well he (Buddy) is only two and a half' but then I see how quickly Poppy (growing up) has gone. Maybe I'll have another one. "Jools, who has been married to top chef Jamie for 13 years, has Polycystic Ovary Syndrome. Despite having her first child through IVF, she conceived the other three naturally.

Jools said: "I wanted to do something that I knew I would want to buy. I don't buy from Harrods because I don't buy expensive clothes for the kids if I can help it. Sometimes I do for a treat but I’d rather not because it's too expensive. "I have done it before and then thought 'what is the point? She's worn those shorts twice and they were really expensive.' So I thought it would be nice to sell clothes that were like £12 for a pair of shorts, £7 for a t-shirt."

She opened up on her family as she unveiled the Christmas collection of her Little Bird children's clothing range, sold at Mothercare for children aged five and below.
