Lucy Mecklenburgh has opened up about her blossoming romance with The Wanted singer Max George. The brunette beauty, 21, said Max was "really nice" when quizzed over their flirtation by co-stars Sam Faiers and Bobby Cole Norris on the latest episode of TOWIE."So what's going on with you now?" asked Sam, who didn't even have to mention Max's name before Lucy responded. "We've been messaging," said Lucy. "He invited me to his gig. He's really nice, but it's very, very, very early stages."
Lucy split from her long-term boyfriend Mario Falcone earlier this year. Since then she has dated fellow TOWIE co-star and male model Dan Osbourne, but the pair recently split after Dan discovered his ex-girlfriend was pregnant with his child.Lucy has previously said she is "moving on" from Dan, but her love life seems just as complicated as it did before, with the reality TV star and the pop singer caught in the middle of a love square.Max's ex-fiancé Michelle Keegan is currently dating Mark Wright who Lucy had a brief romance with in 2011.If television viewers at home had doubts about who the girls were referring to, though, they didn't have to wait long as Sam burst into song, teasing Lucy and singing The Wanted's hit, Glad You Came.
Max and Lucy have tried to keep their romance under wraps, but the two were recently spotted flirting and canoodling in the VIP section of G-A-Y nightclub in London, where Max had just performed with his fellow band mates.“Lucy came with a friend after Max invited them in and they spent the entire time cuddling and kissing," said an onlooker. "They were very affectionate and were constantly flirting. They arrived in the backstage area around 3am and later left together. "The pop singer and reality TV star reportedly met after they started following each other on Twitter, but Max denied he was dating her at the time. "We followed each other on Twitter but I think people just assumed we were texting or whatever," said Max. "Don’t get me wrong, I’ve seen pictures of her and she’s very attractive. So I was pretty flattered, to be honest."
