Eva Longoria and new beau Ernesto Arguello's blissful Paris break

July 8, 2013

Smitten Eva Longoria and her new beau Ernesto Arguello have shared photos of their blissful trip to Paris. The new couple, who announced their relationship last week, are clearly delighted to be together in the romantic city. Ernesto shared a photo of him and Desperate Housewives star Eva on Twitter. The pair held each other closely as they marvelled at the Notre Dame cathedral. Ernesto accompanied the snap with the caption, "@NotreDame de Paris w/ @EvaLongoria thanking #God for finding each other!"

"Eva and Ernesto are a perfect match," a source told People. "They both speak Spanish, have the same religion and the same cultural background." Eva is in Paris to shoot an advert. She is clearly charmed by the wonders of the City of Light and is making the most of her downtime by soaking up the sights with Ernesto.

She tweeted a picture of the stunning Eiffel Tower lit up at dusk. The jet-set couple were in Austin, Texas just days ago catching up with old friends. Their relationship announcement came after months of denying the rumours. Speaking about the Miami-based entrepreneur and philanthropist, Eva said "I think that's why our relationship is so special – we truly started as friends."

The couple met on the set of the reality dating TV show that Eva hosted Ready For Love last year. Ernesto was one of the contestants. "I guess we have the press to thank for pushing us to see something we didn't see!" said the actress.

Once Eva, 38, had made their romance public for the first time, she shared the good news with social media fans, tweeting: "Happy to share NOW that it's true! Couldn't be happier." Her handsome beau Ernesto didn't waste any time in responding, "Me too baby, I LOVE YOU."

Eva, who recently split from Penelope Cruz's brother Eduardo, has already taken a trip to Nicaragua to meet her 34-year-old boyfriend's whole family. Both are avid philanthropists. While Eva is the founder of the Eva Longoria Foundation which "helps Latinas build better futures for themselves and their families through education and entrepreneurship", Ernesto has worked on projects that include building homes and schools in Latin America. The two have also visited Ernesto's native country of Honduras to see the fruits of his efforts that benefit communities and impoverished families.
