Solange Knowles, younger sister of Beyoncé, has cancelled her European tour dates in order to focus on her "mental and physical health"."I am completely devastated to announce that I will be canceling my international festival dates for the summer," said Solange in a statement on her website. "I wish I could put in words how much of a difficult decision this was… but between moving part time to a new city, starting my son in a new school, and writing/recording my new record. "I really had to make the best decision for my mental/physical health and provide some stability for my family.

The Losing You star had nine dates lined up at various festivals across Europe, including Portugal, Belgium, Finland, Sweden, Denmark and Poland.
Solange, who performed at Glastonbury in June, also cancelled gigs at London's Koko and Yorkshire's Beacons festival earlier this month.Solange has previously spoken about moving to Brooklyn and her experience of raising Daniel, whose father is her ex-husband, Daniel Smith.
"[Motherhood is] a balancing act, and it is not at all easy," said Solange. "We were completely isolated [in Los Angeles], we didn't have any family or long-term friends there, and we didn't have that support system built in there that we have in New York.""I think it's really important for every mother to find their own way," said Solange when Beyoncé gave birth to her daughter, Blue Ivy. "I think it's actually the most annoying thing when you're a new mum and you're getting so much advice from other mothers. You really just have to feel it out for yourself. But she's my best friend and we talk at least every other day."
