Jennifer Aniston has spoken out about being questioned about the status of her relationship with Justin Theroux and starting a family. While she promotes her new film We're the Millers, 44-year-old Jennifer has tired of being asked about her plans to tie the knot and have children with Justin – disguised as questions about the movie. "Something about family and trying to relate it to the movie with, Oh, if I was to have a child how many kids do I want? And, do I want a boy or a girl?," she said on Wednesday.
"I surround myself with my amazing work, my amazing friends, my amazing partner, my beautiful dogs … and I tune that noise out," she said. The American actress set the record straight about her family unit too. "My friends and my partner are truly my family," she said.Rumours began to swirl that the former Friends star might be expecting a baby after she stepped out with a more rounded tummy than usual at the New York premiere of her new film.
Speaking on Good Morning America, she went on to joke about starting a family. "I didn't realize you could place orders, I honestly didn't realize it was like a drive-through, that you could talk to a little electronic voice. "The questioning seems to have been sparked by her red carpet appearance last Thursday.
The Hollywood star wore plum coloured pencil dress that flaunted her fabulously toned figure and a curvier figure than usual.
She teamed the Burberry gown with sky-high suede heels and one show stopping accessory – her dazzling emerald-cut diamond engagement ring, rumoured to be eight carats.
The couple got engaged on Justin's birthday on 10 August 2012 after dating for more than a year. They have not set a wedding date.
During the New York press conference for the comedy flick, the actress revealed that the couple are in no rush to walk down the aisle. "We just want to do it when it's perfect, and we're not rushed, and no one is rushing from a job or rushing to a job," she explained. "We have yet to set any date. There have been no cancelled weddings.
There have been no postponed weddings. There have been no arguments about where to get married. Just clearing all that up. "It remains to be seen whether the pair will start a family but Jennifer has made it clear in the past that children are on the cards. "I've said it so many times: I'm going to have children ," she told US Vogue in 2008. "I just know it."
