Victoria Beckham took a helicopter to travel to her son's school for parents' evening.
The fashion designer was doing a photoshoot in the UK for Australian Vogue but was determined not to miss the chance to chat to eldest son Brooklyn's teachers."The shoot almost didn't happen, but in the end her people decided she could make the trip by chopper directly from the shoot if need be," the magazine's editor Edwina McCann revealed to news.com.au.
In the accompanying interview, Victoria insists that her family are just like any other. "By the time Brooklyn's finally gone to bed, it's all I'm fit for," she says."Really, we're much more normal than people think."She also opens up about husband David's retirement from football. "We're all so proud of David," she says.
"Having supported him at clubs all over the world for the past 15 years and seen how he has been an inspiration not just to me and the children but also to millions of people, we are now just really excited at the prospect of spending more time as a family."Victoria recently enjoyed a break to sunny Los Angeles.
Renowned for her serious expressions in photos, fans were delighted when her friend Ken Paves shared a smiley snap of the star while she spent time with friends across the pond."So glad to have you back!" wrote a delighted Ken with a photo of Victoria beaming at the camera. "So much fun hiking and laughing in the LA sunshine with @VictoriaBeckham."
Victoria and beauty expert Ken have been close friends since they met at Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes' wedding in 2006. The pair began working together when the Beckhams relocated to LA in 2007.While Victoria takes time out from working in London, hiking seems to have become one of her new favourite hobbies and the former Spice Girl posted a photo of herself smiling during a walk shortly after she arrived in the US.
"So good to be back in LA," wrote Victoria. "And hiking, who knew? X vb."The designer was quick to make her return to the City of Angels known to her fans by posting a picture of herself striking a carefree pose in front of the iconic Hollywood sign. She was seen holding her hands up in the air and swapped her famous pout for a broad smile.
Fans were also surprised to see the star in flat shoes instead of her trademark high heels.
Victoria, who is happily married to football superstar David Beckham, has been in high spirits with the increasing success of her clothing line and plans to open her first London store.
In June, David showed off how happy the couple are and poked fun at his wife's serious reputation by snapping a photo of her lying down and laughing, alongside the caption, "See I told you she smiles ".
