While viewers around the world were shocked by Miley Cyrus's raunchy performance at the VMAs her family are taking a more laid back view.Her father Billy Ray Cyrus didn't address the furore directly, but posted tweets about the conflict in Syria and appeared to suggest he thought there were more important topics to talk about.

She posted more suggestive pictures of herself to her followers, the Smilers, including one taken in a boys' locker room, in which she's wearing a basketball-themed crop top.Her attitude hasn't stopped everyone weighing in.
