George Clooney joins friend Sandra Bullock at film launch after news of Stacy's new love

If George Clooney was upset by news that his ex Stacy Keibler has found love again, he certainly wasn't showing it as he attended the launch of his new film Gravity.

The Hollywood bachelor, 52, was in his element as he attended the New York premiere with his co-star – and long time friend – Sandra Bullock.

The 49-year-old actress – also single as she approaches her sixth decade – looked equally happy to be sharing the red carpet with her pal.

The pair's platonic affection was mistaken for romantic interest when they promoted their new movie at the Venice Film Festival in August.

George released a statement, to put the record straight, however, saying: "We are just friends. We have known each other before either of us had success in films so there is no pretense."

He has been single since July – but former love Stacy has been snapped up by technology entrepreneur Jared Pobre, who she is said to have started dating a month after splitting from George.

The blonde former wrestler shared a snap of her and the 39-year-old CEO of digital advertising platform Future Ads sharing a romantic dinner in Paris. The caption read: "Love being in the city of love!"

Stacy seeminly isn't ready to debut her new man yet, though. She atended the Mademoiselle C premiere in the French capital without him, instead hanging out with Cara Delevigne and Rita Ora.
