Myleene Klass spoke exclusively to HELLO! Online as she arrived to present the Classic Brit Awardssponsored by Mastercard and official watch and time keeper Raymond Weil on Wednesday night.
The stylish singer and pianist told HELLO! that she had taken her two excited daughters, Ava and Hero, backstage to meet the evening's stars. "I took my little girls to Hans Zimmer's dressing room to meet him, because they wanted to talk about Pirates of the Caribbean," said Myleene. "So they went in and Hero, I can't believe she did it, ran straight for the fruit bowl grabbed it and sat on his sofa."
"Ava was making herself a pretend cup of tea," added Myleene. "I was just standing there thinking we're just trashing Hans Zimmer's dressing room, but he was so sweet about it but I think he was really happy to get rid of us!"Myleene, who presented the night's awards, turned heads on the red carpet in a sheer dress by Rafael Lopez.
"The classical world is way more rock and roll than any other I can think of," said Myleene. "Because they've all been locked away for hours in practise rooms with orchestra touring the world so they want to let loose for the night."
Birthday girl and actress Samantha Barks also played a key role in the evening's proceedings, presenting the award for International Artist of the Year and taking to the stage with English tenor, Alfie Boe. "It's kind of the best birthday I've ever had, ever," Samantha told HELLO! as she arrived at the Royal Albert Hall. "It's a really good present, isn't it?"
"I performed here two years ago with Les Misérables and so to be singing with him again is really special."
