Prince Harry's girlfriend Cressida Bonas reportedly quits dancing career

November 10, 2013

Cressida Bonas has reportedly quit her dancing career in favour of a PA position in London, a move some have claimed shows her relationship with Prince Harry is becoming more serious. Cressida, who studied dance at the University of Leeds, is said to have taken a job at a high-flying firm in London's West End which will allow her to spend more time with 29-year-old Harry. "Cressida is working as a PA in a West End office for the time being," a friend of the socialite told the Mail on Sunday.

"She doesn't want to do anything that will embarrass Prince Harry, I think she felt uncomfortable about photographs being seen of her dancing earlier this year. "Royal watchers have said that Cressida's career move is a telling sign that her relationship with the fourth in line to the throne is going from strength to strength, as dancing wouldn't be easy if she was in the public eye or part of the royal family. In October it was reported that Cressida, who has been decidedly private about her relationship with Prince William's brother, was warming to the idea of marriage.

While it has previously been suggested Cressida said she was too young to settle down, and unsure about marrying into one of the world's most high profile families, the 24-year-old.

A source told HELLO! Magazine that the couple are "very compatible" and "share the same sense of fun and adventure. "No one would be surprised at all if they married," added the insider.

Harry has been smitten ever since he was introduced to the young beauty by his cousin Princess Eugenie 18 months ago. When the helicopter pilot Prince was posted to Afghanistan last year, he kept in constant touch by phone.
