'I haven't met her yet': George Clooney has yet to find the 'love of his life'

Hollywood's most eligible bachelor, George Clooney, is used to fielding questions about his love life. The handsome actor has romanced a number of beautiful women over the years, but remains reticent about his relationships.In an new interview, however, George dropped his guard a little as he discussed his private life. "I haven't met her yet," the 52-year-old stated directly to W! magazine when asked about the greatest love of his life.

"When I was a kid, I was in love with Audrey Hepburn. I watched Roman Holiday when I was 11, and I thought she was as elegant as anything I'd ever seen. And I fell madly in love with her," the star told the magazine's 8th annual Art Issue. "I also always loved Grace Kelly. I mean, when she comes out of the water in To Catch A Thief, I thought, 'That's the most beautiful woman I've ever seen.'"

George made his revelations in a questionnaire submitted to him by British artist Tracey Emin, who used his answers to created a 'text portrait', dubbed 'The Passion of Your Smile'.The actor-director was also asked if her ever gets homesick. "Home is where my friends and family are… I spend 8 months a year in a one bedroom hotel room in a city I probably wouldn't vacation in…But no city… no space… fails to be a home if your family or friends can find the time to visit. "I get desperately, depressingly homesick if I can't find a way to be near the people that bring joy wherever they go… Spend a night with my parents battling over who was the rottenest child (My sister or me)…Or my friends pointing out how badly I destroyed a certain bat franchise.

"Home is humour... And love and responsibility… And I get homesick when the people who know that best and I can't find time to be together. "Other questions posed to George include whether he looks at himself the same way in a mirror — "the older I get the fewer mirrors I have" — who his favorite poet is — "Mark Twain" — and how he rates his sense of humour — "Depends on whose chart…if it's Mark Twain I'm a 2".Finally, Tracey asked George, "If you could choose how to die then how?""Before my friends," the screen icon replied.
