Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have their sights set on the Palace of Versailles as the venue for their wedding, according to reports.The queen of reality TV and the king of rap are considering the lavish, royal chateau which is situated on the outskirts of Paris for their big day.Kim has previously hinted that they might tie the knot in the romantic French capital. At the end of October she said "I want (Kanye) to have whatever he wants," adding that "someplace Parisian" might be an option.
"Kanye has never been married and wants a big [wedding]," a source told Us magazine.Another insider added, "They are not working with a budget. "If Bound 2 rapper Kanye's extravagant proposal is anything to go by, the wedding will be a spellbinding affair with no expense spared.When he proposed to Kim, who is the mother of his six-month-old daughter North, in March he rented out a baseball stadium in San Francisco.
The 36-year-old American artist got down on one knee on the pitch while the words "PLEEEASE MARRY MEEEE!!!" flashed up behind them on the screens.He hired a 50-piece orchestra to play Lana Del Rey's song Young and Beautiful followed by his own love song to Kim, Knock You Down.
This will be the third marriage Keeping Up With The Kardashians star. In 2000, Kim, then 19, married music producer Damon Thomas but the couple split four years later. Then in August 2011, she wed basketball star Kris Humphries; their marriage famously lasted just 72 days.
Kanye has previously hinted at what kind of nuptials he and Kim will have.When the rapper was interviewed on US radio station Power 106's morning show he said: "Two words: 'fighter jets'," when asked for a hint about the nuptials.Kim has told People magazine that she's going to leave the wedding planning to the groom, saying: "We honestly haven't had a moment to talk about it or even breathe, so we haven't really talked about it, but whatever he wants."
