Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have been on opposite sides of the globe recently – but they will be together for a family Christmas, it has been reported.Brad, who has been in the UK filming The Fury while his fiancée has been residing in Australia as she directs Unbroken, is flying Down Under just after his 50th birthday on 18 December, according to Us Weekly.
"They're used to celebrating wherever they're working," the magazine's source said.
Needless to say their six children Maddox, 12, Pax, ten, Zahara, 8, Shiloh, 7, and five-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox will also be in attendance.Last year the duo spent their Christmas holiday on the Caribbean island of Parrot Cay. They were last together when Brad, 49, flew to Sydney for a fleeting weekend visit to celebrate Thanksgiving with the Jolie-Pitt brood. While Angelina has been busy in Oz and Brad working hard in Britain, the Hollywood stars have been sharing their children so they get to spend time with both of them. "They shuttle the kids on a private jet so they have time with both parents," an insider told Us Weekly.
"They meet as often as they can. They don't want to spend too much time apart!" The A-list couple got together last month for their first public event together in nearly seven weeks at the Governors Awards.
And the pair decided to take along their oldest son Maddox. The 12-year-old was there to watch a very proud moment for his mum, who was awarded an honourary Oscar; the prestigious Jean Hersholt Award for humanitarian work.
Maddox smiled as he posed with his parents outside the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Science's Governors Awards, dressed exactly the same as dad Brad, in a tuxedo and patent shoes.
