Khloé Kardashian is staying "strong" after filing for divorce from her husband of four years Lamar Odom, according to the reality TV star's mother Kris Jenner.
"Khloé really is so great," Kris told E! News . "She's strong and the good news is that she's busy and you know, keeps herself real busy. But she's good.
"She's got such a big heart but she also is very sensitive. She's got that tougher exterior and sensitive inside, but she's good. She's got all of us all around her and I'll see her later, and yeah, she's good.
"I was with her yesterday and she's a gift. She's one of my biggest blessings."
The Keeping Up With The Kardashians matriarch also seemed to indicate that her 29-year-old daughter had thought long and hard about the possible divorce.
"I think that when you have a tough decision to make and you finally make it, it's always a relief to come through that process, but it is a process," added Kris. "So we'll see. "Khloé, who cited "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the couple's split, was pictured for the first time on Monday since the filing. The fashion designer was sporting a black jumper from Drake's collection with "Nothing Was The Same" emblazoned across the chest, the name of the rapper's 2013 album.
Khloé, who has not been seen wearing her wedding ring since November, went to the Los Angeles County Superior Court on Friday 13 December to file for divorce. The couple have been estranged for several months, largely due to Lamar's alleged drug use.
The news comes just days after the NBA player pleaded no contest to a misdemeanour DUI charge earlier that week. Lamar was arrested last August after his Mercedes-Benz was seen driving erratically on an LA freeway.
