Meadow Walker has started the difficult task of getting on with her life following the tragic death of her father Paul Walker. The 15-year-old reportedly attended the premiere of Justin Bieber's new documentary film Believe this week.
According to E! News Meadow went to the unveiling in Los Angeles with some friends. She was apparently a guest of Justin – the pair became pals after meeting backstage at one of his concerts earlier in the year.
She did not walk the red carpet at the event, which was also attended by Will Smith's son Jayden and Kylie Jenner.
The outing would have provided a lift for the teenager – Paul's daughter with with ex-girlfriend Rebecca McBrain. Meadow had just moved in with her father before his sudden death.
"I’m grateful I had her at 25 and not 20 because, at 40 and 15, we’re matching up sweet!” Paul said in a recent interview. "She’s been with her mom her whole life and she wants a relationship with her pops. It’s working out really well right now." The sad teenager said a final farewell to her dad at his funeral at the weekend.
Meadow joined mourners at Hollywood's Forest Lawn Memorial Park at a non-denominational ceremony that lasted about 45 minutes. Those in attendance included the 40-year-old actor's parents, Paul Walker Sr. and Cheryl Walker, his brothers Caleb Walker and Cody Walker and other close friends and family.
As guests drove in to the cemetery, they made their way to a green tent that had been set up to shield the grievers from the afternoon sun and give them more privacy. An easel holding a portrait of Paul and surrounded by flowers was spotted next to the awning.
Afterwards, 200 people gathered for a two-hour memorial on the Universal lot, where loved ones paid tribute and musician Ben Harper performed in memory of the Fast and Furious actor.
On the same day as the funeral, Paul's co-stars showed their love for the late actor by expressing their grief on social media sites.
"Today In a room full of your loved ones I wish today was your wedding instead...," wrote Tyrese Gibson alongside a black and white photo of his co-star. "God has a better plan even beyond ALL of our own understandings...... For selfish reasons we all wanted you to stay, another laugh, another take, another talk, another moment.....
I guess you can't get all you ask for in life....
"But our hearts are FULL from all the moments we DID have, 13 years of laughter and grace, humility and love..... Never did I take my access for granted.... Continue praying for his #Family, his daughter #Meadow, you are the WORLDS best friend that's why we're all feeling it... #RIHAW •Rest In Heaven Angel Walker•."
