Congratulations are in order for Strictly Come Dancing lovebirds Jimi Mistry and Flavia Cacace after they married in a romantic Christmas ceremony. The Coronation Street actor fell for Flavia, a professional dancer with the show, when they were paired together in 2010. On Sunday the newlyweds tweeted a beautiful photo of their special day at London's St Pancras Renaissance Hotel.
Flavia, 34, tweeted: "Had the most amazing day with family & friends @StPancrasRen xxx. "She also signaled a change of surname on the social networking site to Cacace-Mistry. Her colleague Kristina Rihannof posted: "Congratulations guys,", while former judge Arlene Philipps told her "Never seen you look more beautiful. "Astrologer Russell Grant, who was paired with Flavia in 2011, admitted he'd been moved to tears by the news. He tweeted: "@FlaviaCacace just to let you know I'm in tears of happiness in my dressing room @lighthousepanto."
Before finding lasting love with Jimi, the brunette beauty had two relationships on the show - she dated actor Matt DiAngelo and her professional partner Vincent Simone. Meanwhile, Jimi,40, has 12-year-old daughter named Elin from a previous marriage. He popped the question last New Year's Eve. Flavia previously revealed that the romance works because they're so different. "I've had a unique life with my dancing, my whole life has revolved around it, so I didn't go through a 'normal' adolescence. Whereas Jimi has had a more normal life - university, drama school. "She added: "He's quite a chilled person whereas I'm disciplined and hard working - probably too much. He's more, 'Let's have a weekend away'."On the other hand he now goes to the gym, eats his greens and his vitamins. I appreciated him calming me down when I need to, and I get the whip out when it's gym time."
