Kim Kardashian welcomed 2014 with a touching Instagram photo that summed up her "amazing year".The reality TV star posted a snapshot of her baby daughter tiny hand clutching her showstopping engagement ring from her rapper fiance Kanye West. "It was an amazing year!!!", the accompanying caption read.
The famous beauty was of course referring to two landmark life events: becoming mum to North West in June and getting engaged to the baby's father Kanye in October.His proposal was not one that will be forgotten in a hurry. The new dad hired out San Francisco's AT stadium and a 50-piece orchestra to set the scene for asking Kim's hand in marriage.After the Golddigger hitmaker had presented her with a spectacular 15-carat diamond sparkler, fireworks lit up the sky.
In contrast to the glamorous proposal, Kim's New Year's Eve celebrations were relatively low-key. The mum-of-one tweeted that she would be seeing in 2014 "with family & friends playing board games. "The 33-year-old has lots to look forward to in 2014. As well as being doting mother to adorable baby North West, she also has a wedding to plan to Kanye.
Recent rumours suggested that the couple might tie the knot in Paris's romantic Versailles Palace.
As well as embracing family life, Kim will no doubt keep a busy schedule with her various TV and fashion projects.
