Newly-released CCTV footage of Justin Bieber shows how the singer passed the ten hours he spent when he was detained for allegedly driving under the influence in Miami.The star can be seen doing push ups in his cell at the Miami-Dade County Jail in the early hours of 23 January.
His cell mate, R&B singer Khalil Amir Sharieff can also be seen in the clip – the musician was arrested along with Justin when police stopped them taking part in what they termed an illegal drag race in Miami Beach.
Other footage shows Justin getting his fingerprints taken, and taking off his red high-top trainers, white socks and baggy black hoodie before being searched.
He is also seen attempting to walk a straight line as part of a sobriety test.
His friend Khalil was also detained after reportedly being found to be under the influence of alcohol and illegal substances.
Justin is reportedly set to reject a plea deal, which would mean his case would go to court.
As well as DUI, The 19-year-old pop star faces charges of resisting arrest and driving with an expired license.
The tapes were made public to the media under Florida's public record law.
According to TMZ, the State Attorney was prepared to drop resisting arrest and DUI charges if Justin agreed to undergo random testing for substance abuse and completed 40 hours of community service. But sources have said he has decided to reject the offer.
