Loose Women presenter Myleene Klass was left red-faced when questioned about a possible past romance with new father Simon Cowell.
The musician met the media mogul when she became a part of the pop group Hear’Say, the band which formed on British TV show Popstars. Thirteen years later the 35-year-old has admitted she may have enjoyed a date or two with her former boss.
“Oh my God, I’ll talk about this later. You’re going to get me in trouble,” she blushed to her fellow panellists on the ITV programme.
Co-hosts Kay Adams, 51, and Sally Lindsay, 40, were especially surprised at her reluctance to deny anything more than business between the pair. Myleene shared that his enthusiasm for taking his ex-girlfriends with him on holidays was not an act to boost his profile as a ladies’ man. Instead the former Mr Nasty simply doesn’t like to play by conventional rules.
“He’s a very charismatic man,” she continued. “It’s a set-up not many people can be a part of but nothing about his life is normal.”
The X Factor boss has been vacationing in the United States recently with his partner Lauren Silverman and their newborn baby son Eric.
Perhaps no longer an unusual sight, his former fiancée Mezhgan Hussainy, was seen with them on the beach in Miami, Florida. The 54-year-old used to date singer Sinitta, who works with him on The X Factor, and Myleene divorced her husband of two years in 2013.
Graham Quinn is also father to her daughters Ava, six, and Hero, two. Myleene revealed that Simon regularly treats her little ones and loves when they run riot, she shared: “Simon spoils Ava and encourages naughty behaviour.
”The reality star also explained how she was offered a job by Mr Cowell but had her own personal reasons for declining. While Cheryl Cole, who was a contestant on Popstars The Rivals and formed part of Girls Aloud, accepted a role on the panel and is rumoured to be rejoining, it’s not something for Myleene.
“I have been offered a judging role, but that’s all I’m prepared to say. And yes, I do know Simon,” she commented about mixing business with friendships. “I turned down the job because it wasn’t the right time for me. But I do watch The X Factor obsessively. I think this current X Factor series is absolutely brilliant.”
