David Beckham is a devoted father and has understandably dedicated a number of his tattoos to his children, Brooklyn, Cruz, Romeo and Harper.

In his new fragrance campaign, the former footballer proudly shows off his inked tribute to his daughter.

'Harper' sits just above a tattoo of Jesus being held aloft by three cherubs, which represent sons Brooklyn, 12, Romeo, eight and six-year-old Cruz.

David got his daughter's name etched onto his left clavicle less than a month after her arrival on 10 July 2011. At his LA Galaxy versus FC Dallas game on 6 August, he stripped down and debuted his new script tattoo.

The 38-year-old has a number of inkings, including tributes to his wife Victoria, the word 'Love' on his hand, and a guardian angel on his back.

Of the large depiction of his sons as cherubs on his chest, he has previously explained, "It's Jesus being carried by three cherubs and obviously the cherubs are my boys, and so my thought of it is that at some point my boys are going to need to look after me and that's what they're doing in the picture. It means a lot.

"David smoulders in the new advert for his fragrance, Intense Instinct.

The scent is "inspired by David's sharp judgement, self-belief and his ability to overcome any obstacle," the description reads. "Instinct is an aromatic and fruity fragrance that will inspire any self-conscious, focused and driven man."

David also has a tattoo of three cherubs carrying Jesus, which represents his three sons

David said, "Intense Instinct is an invigorating and contemporary fragrance for men with green, luminous notes and woody undertones.

"I believe it's important to trust your instincts in life and this has inspired this new limited edition of my fragrance."
